UAAP Media</div>MANILA (UPDATED) -- The Far Eastern University Lady Tamaraws made quick work of the University of the East Lady Warriors to enter the win column of the UAAP Season 88 women&#x27;s volleyball tournament on Wednesday at the UST Quadricentennial Pavilion.  FEU outplayed UE to cruise to the straight sets victory, 25-20, 25-14, 25-14. The Lady Warriors stayed within striking distance in the first set thanks to Khy Cepada at 16-14, before the Lady Tamaraws went on an 8-4 run to get the opening frame.From there, it was all FEU with the lead growing by as much as 12 points to take the next two sets and their first victory of the season.Leading the charge for the Lady Tamaraws was Faida Bakanke with 11 points on 10 attacks and one block, alongside Jaz Ellarina who also had 11 points on five attacks and five blocks.Ellarina said they are glad to finally get their first win, but the team knows they have a lot to improve on to sustain the momentum later in the season.&quot;Lagi pong sinasabi po nila coach is yung slow start namin and mas ma-polish namin yung serve-pass namin. Kasi mostly po doon kami nawawala ng run, pag nawawalan kaming pasa, nawawalan kami ng service,” she said during the post-game press conference.The woes of the Lady Warriors continued as they were handed their 16th straight loss.While no UE player reached double digits, Cepada led the scoring with 9 points, while team captain Zai Bangayan chipped in 8 points in the loss.The Lady Tamaraws will face a tough next assignment on Saturday, when they clash with the defending champions, the NU Lady Bulldogs. &quot;NU is NU na po. With the addition of Sam Cantada, matibay parin sila.
