PVL: Vanie Gandler hopes to rewrite Capital1's story

<p>MANILA — 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference Most Valuable Player (MVP) Vanie Gandler has found her new home, and she is eager to rewrite its story.</p><p>Gandler found herself entering a new chapter after Cignal, which she helped reach the finals last tournament, hit the pause button on its league participation.</p><p>As she was formally welcomed by Capital1, the former Ateneo de Manila University standout expressed eagerness to help the team reach new heights.</p><p>&quot;I wanted to join a team na I’m not just a missing piece, I wanted to be there to build a team with them, to help them write a story,&quot; said Gandler on Thursday in Mandaluyong City.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/sports/volleyball/2026/5/14/pvl-capital1-signs-mvps-vanie-gandler-erika-santos-1333"><strong>READ: PVL: Capital1 signs MVPs Vanie Gandler, Erika Santos<br/></strong></a></div><p>Gandler said she chose the young Solar Spikers squad because of its potential.</p><p>&quot;When I was thinking of a team to join, I always felt na I fit best in Capital1 for some reason.
