Middle blocker Blessing Unekwe scored seven of her 10 points on kill blocks.Poyos and Jurado had also stepped up in terms of leadership, after the graduation of former team captain and top libero Detdet Pepito.Setter Arlene Waje, meanwhile, embraced the playmaking position after Cassie Carballo was forced to sit out the National Invitationals due to a leg injury.
