Here’s everything we learned from the recent episode of “Star Cinema List” which aired on Star Cinema’s YouTube channel on October 9:</p><div><strong>1. The meet-cute scene</strong></div><p>Before Joy kissed Ethan to distract the cops who have been running after her, Kathryn was instructed to run and jump around to prep herself for the chase. The writers wanted this scene to show Joy’s strength, determination, and unrelenting attitude. She doesn’t slow down for anyone. The intimate scene</strong></div><p>The writers felt that Joy wouldn’t get physically close to a stranger, even at her lowest point, so instead of a passionate moment, they opted for an emotional breakdown. The &#x27;I want to be more&#x27; scene</strong></div><p>This powerful scene, where Joy admits she’s tired of sacrificing for others, was a nod to Vilma Santos’ character Josie in “Anak”.</p><p>While “Anak” featured a mother willing to sacrifice everything for her family, “Hello, Love, Goodbye” showed the evolution of the <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/starcinema/articles-news/hello-love-again-teaser-gives-moving-tribute-to-ofws-23339">OFW narrative</a>. Twenty years later, Joy represents a new generation of OFWs who want lives beyond enduring sacrifices. The ‘Ano ba, Joy?!’ scene</strong></div><p>During rehearsal, Kathryn accidentally called Ethan “Joy,” and the crew decided to keep the slip-up. It added authenticity to the scene because it reflected Joy’s real confusion about her feelings for Ethan.
