<p>Julia Barretto and Joshua Garcia lit up the premiere night of their latest romance film, “<a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/starcinema/articles-news/julia-barretto-joshua-garcia-to-star-as-real-to-reel-life-exes-in-comeback-movie-unhappy-for-you-22172">Un/Happy For You</a>”, held at SM Megamall on August 13.</p><p>The event marked a <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/starcinema/articles-news/joshua-garcia-julia-barretto-laugh-their-hearts-out-in-unhappy-for-you-first-script-reading-22555">highly anticipated reunion</a> for the actors, making it their first red carpet appearance together in over four years. The premiere night also attracted an array of celebrities, including JC Alcantara, Nikki Valdez, Arci Muñoz, Eli Padilla, and Sofia Andres, who all gathered to support the film. Star Cinema head and managing director Kriz Gazmen, as well as Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi, were also spotted.</p><p>Penned by Kookai Labayen, Crystal San Miguel, and Jen Chuaunsu, “Un/Happy For You” follows the story of Juancho (Joshua) who plans to get even with his ex-girlfriend Zy (Julia Barretto) after their messy breakup two years earlier. However, when old feelings start to resurface, their reunion is shaken by an unexpected revelation.</p><p>Now showing in over 200 cinemas nationwide, “Un/Happy For You” promises a rollercoaster of emotions, blending romance, drama, and a twist that viewers won’t see coming.
