Vice Ganda brings on tears with the laughs as family’s betrayed provider in ‘And The Breadwinner Is...” teaser

<p>The wait is over! Here comes the first poster and official teaser of Vice Ganda’s <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/starcinema/articles-news/vice-ganda-to-star-in-upcoming-comedy-film-and-the-breadwinner-is-helmed-by-jun-robles-lana-22149">highly anticipated</a> film, “And The Breadwinner Is...”, an official entry to the 50th Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF)!</p><p>Helmed by acclaimed director Jun Robles Lana and co-produced by Star Cinema and The IdeaFirst Company, the film marks <a href="https://ent.abs-cbn.com/starcinema/articles-news/vice-gandas-and-the-breadwinner-is-joins-metro-manila-film-festival-2024-lineup-22824">Vice’s MMFF comeback</a>. Now, fans finally get a sneak peek into the life of Bambi Salvador, Vice’s character who brings on equal parts laughter and tears.</p><p>Released on October 22, the movie’s first poster shows Vice as Bambi dressed in a pink and professional-looking ensemble. Set within a gold frame, Bambi holds a basket generously laden with star-shaped bread, while surrounded by whimsical butterflies.</p><p>As a playful nod to her role as a breadwinner of the family, could the bread in the poster refer to something else?</p><div><img alt="" src="https://asset-ent.abs-cbn.com/ent/entertainment/media/star-cinema/film news/2024/10 october/23/and-the-breadwinner-is-official-poster-vice-ganda-director-jun-robles-lana-star-cinema.jpg?ext=.jpg" class="fr-fic fr-dii"/></div><p>From the official teaser, meanwhile, we learn that Bambi sends her earnings as an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) to support her family back home.
