Belle takes on a journey of introspection in 'Somber'

New Gen Phenomenal Actress Belle Mariano returns to the music scene with an uplifting message from her album "Somber" released under Star Pop.

With its mellow and pop sound, the new album talks about one's journey through the complex stages of loss. Belle along with Kapamilya artists Cesca, Trisha Denise, and Jeremy G wrote the tracks while Star Pop label head Rox Santos took charge of its production. “Somber” also serves as her first offering from the two-part album.

The key track "Somber and Solemn" delves into accepting mistakes as inevitable in life and realizing the beauty of life during the lowest moments. Other original tracks on the album are “Roadtrip,” “Session Road,” “Pansamantala,” “Running Out of Time,” and “Bugambilya.”

In three days, "Somber" has topped the iTunes Philippines Albums chart while its tracks flooded the top 30 of iTunes Philippines Singles chart.

The second part of the album called “Solemn” is slated for release next year.

Through her undeniable charm and acting prowess, Belle rose to stardom with her hit series "He's Into Her" and rom-com hits "Love Is Color Blind" and "An Inconvenient Love." Aside from acting, she also dipped her toes into music by releasing various hits such as "Sigurado" and "Tanging Dahilan" which are all part of her debut album "Daylight" released in 2021.
