Remember Luke from Be Careful With My Heart? Well, the actor Jerome Ponce is not just a rising star anymore, he has become a full-fledged actor ready to grow deeper into his craft.

After exploring minor roles in theater, Jerome finally found his big break in Be Careful With My Heart which aired in 2012. Back then, there wasn’t any assurance how the series would fly, as this was the first team-up of seasoned actress Jodi Sta. Maria and then newbie actor Richard Yap. But, over time, it slowly proved to be a massive success with the love team’s chemistry and a skilled cast including Jerome. Running until 2014, Jerome shined in a supporting role with his own plotlines and was able to make hismark in the industry with his talent.

By 2015, he was offered a main cast role in the revenge drama Nasaan Ka Nang Kailangan Kita to portray Ryan Briones, the brother of Denise Laurel’s character. He was then offered to be a potential suitor of Yna in Pangako Sa ‘Yo, which was portrayed by Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo. This proved to be a challenge as Jerome was poised to compete forYna’sheart against Angelo, which was played by Daniel Padilla, who has a large and loyalKathNielfanbase.

In the following years, Jerome continued to develop his skills and explores different projects. He took on several roles in the series Maalaala Mo Kaya, Ipaglaban Mo, and Wansapanataym.

Jerome captured the attention of viewers once again in 2017 when he played the perfect caring son, EnzoBuenavidez, in The Good Son. This starring role allowed him to delve into serious drama and position himself as a more mature actor.

True enough, after The Good Son, he ventured with a daring and sexy role as a young EnricoMatias in Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Los Bastardos. A slew of heavy dramatic roles wasalso added to his belt when he was cast in the teleseryes The General’s Daughter, A Soldier’s Heart, and “Click Like Share.”

This 2022, Jerome is set to take on the challenge of becoming part of the longest-running action drama, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano. He’ll be able to show viewers once again his growth and acting prowess.
