Coco Martin gave his thoughts on the disqualification of "Honor Thy Father" from the Best Picture category of the 2015 Metro Manila Film Festival in an episode of "Tonight with Boy Abunda" on Friday.

Asked for his opinion on what director Erik Matti described as the "MMFF scandal," the 34-year-old Martin replied: "Nalulungkot lang ako kasi --ako, ginawa ko ang 'Beauty and the Bestie' para sa mga tao, hindi para makipagkumpetensya, for the awards."
