MAYNILA — Arestado ang isang taxi driver matapos umano itong tumangging gumamit ng metro sa isang pasaherong galing sa bakasyon at makipaghabulan pa sa mga pulis sa Taguig. Kuwento ng mag-asawang sina alyas &quot;Ed&quot; at alyas &quot;Madz&quot;, siningil umano sila ng tsuper ng P3,500 na taripa. Galing ang dalawa sa bakasyon at magpapahatid lang sana sa Antipolo.Gusto sana nilang makatipid dahil P700 ang singil ng isang ride-sharing app, samantalang nasa P500 naman ang ibinayad nila sa taxi papuntang airport galing Antipolo noong umalis sila.Pero sa simula pa lang aniya ay kahina-hinala na ang ginawa ng tsuper dahil kinuha nito ang stub na binigay ng dispatcher, hanggang sa hindi na makita ng mag-asawa ang metro dahil natakpan na ito ng cellphone ng driver. Habang nag-iisip si &quot;Ed&quot; ng solusyon, sakto namang nakakita siya ng pulis kaya doon niya pinadaan ang sasakyan.Mabilis na rumesponde si Cpl. Carmina Villena ng stasyon ng pulis sa Bonifacio Global City.Umabot pa sa maikling habulan ang pangyayari, pero sa huli ay nasakote rin ang suspek.Pinabulaanan naman niya ang mga paratang sa kanya.Paliwanag niya, hanggang Metro Manila lang ang linya ng taxi niya, at hindi nito sakop ang Antipolo. &quot;Yung linya po ng taxi ko, within Metro Manila. Ngayon po, tama po yon, noong sinakay ko po yung bag niya...sabi ko &#x27;Sir, malayo na po yon, out of Metro Manila na.&#x27; Eh sabi niya i-metro mo. Eh sabi ko &#x27;Sir, may tariff rate kami.&#x27;&quot;Patong-patong na kasong kriminal na grave coercion, theft, unjust vexation, at disobedience to person in authority ang isasampa sa drayber. Disregarding traffic officer, reckless driving, at discrimination of passenger naman ang mga traffic violations na ipapataw sa kanya.
