Bianca Manalo was ready to face ex-boyfriend John Prats when she attended the recently-concluded Star Magic ball. They hadn’t seen each other since their breakup four months ago. Asked if she’s willing to catch up with him, she cheerfully replied, “Okay
naman. Wala namang problema dun. Marami rin naman kaming magandang pinagsamahan
together,
masasayang
memories.
Tignan natin. Ayoko pangunahan, kung ano na lang mangyari
I’ll just go with the flow,” she said in an interview with
.
As for the rumors that she got a drastic hair cut because of a heartbreak, Bianca explained that it has nothing to do with John at all. “
Kahit itanong niyo pa si
John
nung kami pa, alam niya na
ikacut yung
hair
ko
by August.
Kung tungkol sa
breakup
sana
four months ago
ko pa ginawa
. It’s part of my contract for an endorsement. At first
masakit sa akin i
-let go
kasi lampas
belly button hair
ko, pero bumagay naman.
”
Bianca further shared that she has no more bitterness about her failed relationship with the actor-host. “
Masaya na siya e, masaya na ako. Masaya na kami sa bawat ginagawa namin. Yun ang mahalaga.
I am enjoying the company of my friends and family.
Sa ngayon dun muna.
I’m trying to enjoy all by myself and I want to focus on my career for now.”
She said she has always been strong and unpretentious as a person, but Bianca admitted that it was still an effort for her to move forward when she and John broke up. “
Alam niyo hindi rin
advantage
yung pagiging
strong when you’re coping with pain.
Kasi bilang
babae, kapag nasaktan ka, masakit. Naniniwala ako na
you can wallow in misery, you can grieve. But you have to give your grief a deadline.
Oops sandali ganito lang ako,
or
tama na yun naiyak ko na,
okay
na. Naniniwala ako sa kasabihan na kung mahina ka ngayon, iiyak mo lang, mahina ka e. Pero darating ang panahon lalakas ka rin.
”
At this point, Bianca claimed that she’s open to dating and meeting new people. “
Ay alam niyo walang nanliligaw sa akin. Walang nakikipagdate. Hindi ko alam kung bakit.
Here we go again.
Pero wala talaga
. If ever meron, why not? I’m young. I am happy. So
kung may mameet man ako
or
may magpakilala sa akin
,
sino ba naman ako para tumanggi ‘di ba?
”
On the brighter side, Bianca is thankful for her newfound friend Cristine Reyes who keeps her company when they both have time to spare. “
Hindi ko alam bakit kami naging
close
bigla.
Every time
na wala siya ginagawa magtetext siya, ‘Ano ginagawa mo?’ Sabihin ko, ‘Wala dito lang bahay. Ikaw?’ ‘Wala bored. Kita tayo.’ O kaya minsan, ‘Dito ako
Greenbelt,
kita tayo!’ Sama naman ako, kasi ‘pag
single
ka
go
ka lang ng
go. So
nakakasama ko siya madalas ngayon
.”
Apparently, it was Cristine who befriended her first. “Friends
kami sa
Path,
isang
application
sa
iPhone.
Tapos nagkita kami sa
birthday
ni
Mother Biboy (Arboleda).
Sabi niya sa akin,
‘Hi Pathmate!’
Sabi ko lang
, ‘Hello.’ Party party.
Tapos lumapit siya sa akin ulit. Sabi niya, ‘Alam mo gusto kita. Hindi ko alam kung bakit.’ ‘Ah talaga? Gusto din kita.’ Nag
jive
na kami. Kahit hindi na kami nagkita
after
nung
birthday,
nagiiwan siya sa akin ng
Voxer message
kahit
out of the country
siya. Tapos yun na, nagkakatext na kami. Nagkikita na kami,
” Bianca added.
