Suy Galvez and Jason Fernandez bid “The Voice” good-bye

Members of teams Apl and Sarah showed off their singing skills on The Voice’s live show tonight, February 7. Viewers had the opportunity to vote for their favorite artists and move them forward to the next round.


First to perform was team Apl’s Alisah Bonaobra who dedicated her song, “Laserlight,” to her grandfather. This performance was followed by Daryl Ong, who dedicated the song, “Smile,” to his father. Suy Galvez, followed him and sang “Bridge Over Troubled Waters” for her family. Lastly, Mackie Cao remembered her special someone with, “Maghintay Ka Lamang.”


In the end, Daryl got the highest number of votes in Team Apl from the public with 31.16% while Alisah came second with 28.25%. Between Suy and Mackie, Coach Apl chose to save Mackie.


Meanwhile, team Sarah’s Kokoi Baldo, who misses his home island Boracay, performed “Could You Be Loved” while Jason Fernandez, who shared how important his family is to him, sang “Moves Like Jagger.” Jason Dy, on the other hand, showed how talented he is with. “O.M.G.” while Monique Lualhati, who was taught by her father to sing, had her coach giving her a standing ovation with her performance of “Bang Bang.”


In the end, Kokoi Baldo got the highest number of votes in Team Sarah with 41.61% of the votes while Monique Lualhati followed with 25.26%. Between the two Jasons, Coach Sarah chose to save Jason Dy.


In other news, host Luis Manzano’s girlfriend, Angel Locsin was present in the audience area as she and Luis are celebrating their anniversary.
