Ogie Alcasid wants to write a song for Vice Ganda

Having transferred to ABS-CBN, veteran singer-songwriterOgie Alcasid shared that he wants to collaborate with host-comedian Vice Ganda.

Saying that he approached Vice during a rehearsal forABS-CBN's Christmas Special, Ogie narrated, 'Kasi 'nung kumakanta kami,sabi ko, 'Alam mo, ginalingan mo 'yung pagkanta mo. Magaling ka talaga, eh.Dapat mayroon kang isang solid na ballad na may hugot.' I really told him that.Ang sabi niya sa'kin, 'Hindi naman ako sineseryoso ng mga tao. Gusto nila 'yungmga joke-joke.' Sabi ko, 'Subukan mo lang kasi singer ka, eh.' Hindi ko alamkung nakikinig siya sa'kin 'nun. But I would love to write him a song.'

Aside from music collaboration, he said he is also open toworking with Vice on a concert and a movie.

Saying that Vice is a 'Great person', the newestjudge of Your Face Sounds Familiar: Kids addedthat he wants to get to know Vice more. 'Hindi naman kami nagkaroon ngmaraming oras para makilala ang isa't isa but it's just that every time nanakakasama ko siya sa trabaho, dati nag-guest siya sa concert namin and thennag-guest ako sa Gandang Gabi Vice,there was this na hindi ko maintindihan, mutual respect siguro dahil singer dinsya at comedian din so nagkaroon kami ng intindihan na... Nagkakaroon kami ngrapport.'

While Vice hosts It'sShowtime, Ogie is a judge of the noontime show's Tawag ng Tanghalan.
