Superstar Nora Aunor returns to ABS-CBN

<div><img src="" alt="050516-NoraAunor_PUSH.jpg" width="400" height="290" align="left" border="0"/>Award-winning actress Nora Aunor is very grateful that she was finally able to come back to ABS-CBN after 13 years.</div><div><br/></div><div>The Superstar is set to do her fourth <i><a href="http://entertainment.abs-cbn.com/tv/shows/maalaalamokaya/main">Maaalala Mo Kaya</a></i> episode this Saturday as part of the show’s Mother’s Day episode.</div><div><br/></div><div><i>“Alam niyo po matagal na matagal ko napong pinangarap na makalabas muli sa <a href="http://entertainment.abs-cbn.com/tv/shows/maalaalamokaya/main">MMK</a>. Dahil pagkatapos ng napakatagal na panahon na hindi ako nakalabas, unang-una sa dos, lalong lalo na ang <a href="http://entertainment.abs-cbn.com/tv/shows/maalaalamokaya/main">MMK</a>. Talagang pinangarap ko na makabalik ulit sa dos,”</i> she began during <a href="http://entertainment.abs-cbn.com/tv/shows/maalaalamokaya/main"><i>MMK’s </i></a>press conference.</div><div><br/></div><div>She continued, “Dahil noong araw, nagpunta na ako dito. Kung ano man ang pagkakamali ko, sa mga boss natin, ito ay ihiningi ko ng tawad at hindi ko ikinahihiya. Kung nagkamali ako, kailangan humingi ako ng tawad sa kung sino ang namumuno.”</div><div><br/></div><div>The Superstar admitted that she was at fault over the past incident that tainted her relationship with the network.</div><div><br/></div><div><i>“Alam ko na may mga sinabi ako ng hindi maganda kay Ma’am Charo [Santos] at Ms. Malou [Santos]. Siguro dahil sa nagtampo rin ako. Pero malaki ang naging kasalanan ko kasi madaldal ako eh. Hindi ko ikinatatakot ‘yun at inaamin ko kaya kailangan kong humingi ng tawad,”</i> she explained.</div><div><br/></div><div>In a magazine interview in 2011, the Superstar revealed her grievances towards the network over issues on her contract. Reports of Nora’s supposed lack of professionalism on the set spread from 2002 to 2003 after shooting her last Kapamilya soap <i>Bituin</i>.</div><div><br/></div><div>The acclaimed actress shared that she was able to talk to Star Cinema head Malou Santos.</div><div><br/></div><div><i>“At buong pasasalamat ko at napakasaya ko ngayon na parang pinatawad narin ako kaya maraming salamat. Ang makalabas lang sa <a href="http://entertainment.abs-cbn.com/tv/shows/maalaalamokaya/main">MMK </a>masayang-masaya na ako,”</i> she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>Does this mean that she is returning to ABS-CBN for good?</div><div><br/></div><div><i>“Tignan natin kung ano ang ibibigay ng ABS-CBN. Open lang ako sa lahat,”</i> she said.</div><div><br/></div><div>During the press conference, Nora likewise revealed that she is planning to return to the US this coming July to finally undergo the long overdue throat operation.</div><div><br/></div><div><i>“Ang operasyon sandali lang, ang pagpapagaling at tsaka kasi kailangan ko magkaroon ako ng kakanta ulit na eensayuhin ko ang sarili ko sa pagkanta.  Gusto ko ngayong taon na ito. Kasi madalas ko narin sabihin ‘yan pero  hindi natutuloy. Gusto kong matuloy this time ang pangako ko sa sarili ko,”</i> she ended.</div><div><br/></div><div>Catch Nora’s <i><a href="http://entertainment.abs-cbn.com/tv/shows/maalaalamokaya/main">Maalaala Mo Kaya</a></i> episode this Saturday, May 7, on ABS-CBN.</div>
