Box-office director Antoinette Jadaone was very emotional when she learned of the passing of actress Lilia Cuntapay last August 20 due to a spinal cord injury.

The Horror Queen was Direk Tonet’s lead star in the 2011 Cinema One Originals entry “Six Degrees of Separation From Lilia Cuntapay.”

To help the actress’ family, the director will be holding benefit screenings of the movie.

“My first full-length film SIX DEGREES OF SEPARATION FROM LILIA CUNTAPAY (2011) will have benefit screenings at Cinema 76 (160 Luna Mencias St., San Juan, MM) from Thursday to Sunday! All proceeds go to Nanay Lilia's family.

“I will be there on Thursday for the Q&A after the screening. Please spread the word!”

Direk Tonet just recently returned to Manila after staying in Greece for a couple of weeks to film the James Reid and Nadine Lustre comeback serye Till I Met You.
