Julia Montes says there’s no misunderstanding between her and Coco Martin

On Tonight with Boy Abunda, Julia Montes revealed why she didn't harbor any anger for her biological father Martin Schnittka who left her when she was just a baby. She said, “kung sino po ako ngayon. Kung sino yung mga nakasama ko noon, maaring mahirap man pero eto e. Eto ako ngayon, lahat ng bagay nagiging thankful ako because of that.”

The Doble Kara star recently met her dad with the help of her fans and a cousin.

Julia was also wearing a necklace given by her dad. Julia said she is not usually fond of jewelry but she was wearing it because it’s “memorable.”

Asked if she had a misunderstanding with Ang Probinsyano star Coco Martin, Julia said, “wala po. Actually, masasabi ko po talaga strong yung friendship namin, hindi siya yung pwedeng dapat magkaroon ng misunderstanding… way, way back yung friendship namin masasabi ko talagang sobrang strong ng foundation.”

Julia recently left Star Magic to join Cornerstone. Julia clarified there is no bad blood between her and Star Magic and her move, if anything, is a career move. “Malaki ang pasasalamat ko sa Star Magic lalo na kay Mr. M (Johnny Manahan).”

On Fast Talk, she said Coco Martin is “brilliant.”
