Former 2NE1 member Minzy finally speaks up about the group’s final single

For the first time since YG Entertainment announced 2NE1’s disbandment last November, former member Minzy posts her thoughts on the group’s final single on Instagram.

Minzy, who left the group April last year, uploaded a picture of her and her ex-groupmates and revealed she only knew about the song “Goodbye” through a news article.

“It's a shame that I had to find out 2NE1 will be releasing their final album through a news article. This is very unfortunate as I was previously a member of the group 2NE1, but I share the same feelings as the other members in wanting to show appreciation and bid farewell to everyone for all their love and support of 2NE1,” she said.

She also took the opportunity to thank 2NE1’s fans for their unending and continuous support to each of the members’ individual careers.

“I am truly grateful and sincerely appreciate all the love 2NE1 received and hope for your extended love and support as the members continue on in their inPidual careers. Thank you.”
