Jay-R explains why he is in charge of Billy Crawford’s bachelor party

On Tonight with Boy Abunda, singer Jay-R admitted being the one in charge of his friend Billy Crawford’s bachelor party. “They wanted me to do it kasi alam nila na matino ako e.” Asked if that means he is not naughty, Jay-R naughtily confirmed, “I’m not naughty.”

He also revealed a bit about his plans for Billy’s stag night. “Billy, he requested na somewhere out of town. He wanted to go to a different island naman. What we really wanted to do is get Billy away from work. Billy is such a hard worker. Everyday magtrabaho yan so what we want to do is get a couple of days for him to relax lang.”

Jay-R also shared how he celebrated his fifth anniversary with his girlfriend Mica Javier. “We’ve been both very busy. What we did was naglipat kami ng bahay ko. Tapos it was very nice actually kasi on midnight on our anniversary kasama ko ang parents ko and then kasama ko din si Mica and we just ate in a little restaurant dun sa corner lang. It was very intimate and family-oriented lang, just the way I like it.”

He added that everyone is asking when they’re going to get hitched but Jay-R said, “Mica is on the rise lang…I really want her to pursue her dreams muna. I don’t want to be a factor to drag her down. I don’t want to give her any pressure muna. Gusto ko yung mga pangarap niya mapatuwad muna.”

Host Boy Abunda then laughed and corrected Jay-R, saying what he meant was “matupad” and not mapatuwad. He also taught Jay-R what “tuwad” means.
