“Isang malaking karangalan na makilala kayong lahat. I visited this community in Sarangani where for 51 weeks, the Women’s Association took charge of the coastal cleanup and also with the help of their husband, created fish pens for the livelihood of their community. Ang galing nila noh? Nakaka-inspire! Girl Power!” she wrote as caption.

This isn’t the first time that Jodi has visited Mindanao. In 2016, the actress flew to Davao City to personally visit the indigenous people of Mindanao who had evacuated from their homes to the Haran Center of the United Church of Christ in the Philippines (UCCP) as part of her advocacy to help the Lumad community.
