Despite the ongoing pandemic, Namamasko Po Year 4 performer Jona said she has not let the global crisis dampen her spirits. “Sa totoo lang, kahit laganap pa rin ang pandemic, laganap pa rin yung COVID, pero hinahanap ko pa rin talaga yung spirit ng Christmas kasi sobrang nag-lu-look forward talaga ako kapag kapaskuhan na. Kapag nakakakita ako ng mga Christmas lights, mga Christmas trees, mas sumasaya ako. Nagpapatugtog rin ako ng mga Christmas songs para ma-feel ko yung spirit ng pasko,” she shared in an interview with Kaladkaren during the TFC and Remitly event.

“Sa totoo lang, wala akong major plans pa. Pero iisa lang talaga ang gusto ko tuwing sumasapit ang christmas time. Gusto ko makasama yung buong pamilya ko. Ang masasabi ko lang, kahit wala pa tayong nakakasama romantically eh talagang masaya naman ako kasi rini-redirect ko lang yung focus ko sa gusto ko makapag-spend ng quality time with my siblings, with my relatives and family kasi hindi kami magkakasama sa bahay. Ako sa QC ako, sila sa Marikina. Pero siyempre dahil nga pandemic pa ngayon so hindi natin sila nakakasama so sana ngayong Pasko makasama ko na sila kasi na-mi-miss ko na sila. Sobrang gusto ko sila i-hug and kiss,” she explained.
