"Grabe sobrang tuwang-tuwa po dahil si Ms. Lea Salonga po 'yon. Hindi lang po siya, na-appreciate din po ng mga kasama ko pong mag-perform sa ASAP 'yung performance ko and then si Ms. Lea Salonga pa nanonood ng ASAP noong time na 'yon. Sobrang saya po, sobrang unreal ng feeling. Hanggang sa ngayon po ay hindi pa rin ako mapakali dahil sa sobrang saya ko," he said.

JM won the Tawag ng Tangahalan competition on Saturday, February 6. The singer admitted that things have still not sunk in after he won the contest.

"Actually po sa dami po nang nangyayari ngayon, sa bilis po nang nangyayari -- masaya po pero hindi pa po siya nagsi-sink in dahil lagi ko lang pong ginagawa ang kailangan kong gawin pero hindi ko nai-internalize na ito na pala 'yon, panalo pala ako, tapos na pala ang lahat. Tapos ito po nagagawa ko 'yung mga iniisip ko lang dati," he stated.
