In an Instagram post, Regine shared that they rarely get to embrace and kiss their son Nate these days for precautionary measures as they go out to work.

"Ngayong araw na to we got to kiss and hug Nate. Kasi pag may work hindi talaga kami lumalapit sa kanya. And I’ve been missing him soooooo much. We got the results of our test today and we were both negative. Thank you Lord. Halos 2 weeks yata kaming hindi masyadong lumalapit kay Nate kaway kaway lang😢 ang hirap!!!! Pero ok lang basta safe siya," she shared on her Instagram page on Saturday, March 20. Regine relayed that as she will start working again, she will not be able to hug and kiss her son for at least seven days.

"Then need to do PCR again to be sure it’s safe to hold and kiss him na. But again it’s ok basta mas important safe si Nate. Para po sa mga magulang na kailangan talaga lumabas para maghanap buhay gaya namin, ingatan po natin ang ating mga sarili para po sa kaligtasan hindi lang ng mga mahal natin sa buhay para din sa ating lahat," she said.

"Mag face mask at shield po tayo at parating maghugas ng kamay. Para sa mga nagtatrabaho sa mga enclosed na lugar pabuksan po natin ang mga bintana malaking tulong po ang fresh air. Para naman sa mga bagets tiis lang tayo ng konti kung hindi kailangang lumabas stay home muna tayo. Isang taon na tayong ganito at hanggang ngayon in fairness sa ating lahat at sa awa ni Lord kinakaya pa rin natin. Mahirap at malungkot pero kung hindi tayo magtutulungan mas lalong magiging mahirap para sa ating lahat," she said.

My husband and I will definitely (kung magkaron na) do it not just for as but for Nate na sa ngayon hindi pa pweding mag pabakuna," she said.
