Toni Gonzaga's production company TinCan Films shared a new update about the Philippine adaptation of My Sassy Girl.

On Instagram, TinCan announced that the dubbing for the movie was already done.

Snapshots of the film's movie stars Toni Gonzaga and Pepe Herrera in the dubbing studio alongside director Fifth Solomon were posted on the page.

It was on January 20 when TinCan Films announced that the Korean romantic-comedy movie will have a Philippine adaptation.

“Twenty years after the film was released, I’m given the opportunity to play the role here in the Philippines. I consider it as a big blessing,” Toni said in one of her YouTube vlogs.

In an interview with G3 San Diego last April, Toni shared that part of the contract will be meeting the original stars of the movie Jun Ji-hyun and Cha Tae-hyun.

"Part din ng deal doon sa franchise — and I’m praying it will happen — we will go to Korea and meet the original cast. Sana matuloy iyon," Toni relayed.
