Janah Zaplan releases Christmas single ‘Pasko’y Nagbabalik’

Kapamilya artist Janah Zaplan recently released her latest single, "Pasko’y Nagbabalik," under Star Music. The talented young artist sat down with the press for the media conference of her latest single which has over thousands of plays already on various streaming platforms.

Janah expressed her gratitude for the blessings she has received this year.

“I’m just happy to be where I am right now honestly. That’s the greatest achievement I have [this year]––to reach this level with the help of the very supportive system that I have not just with my family but also with my management and my bosses. I couldn’t be more grateful to have them with me and to be able to work with them,” she shared.

Star Music Creative Director Jonathan Manalo then praised Janah for her work ethic as this was the first time they got to work together for a single. The songwriter-composer had nothing but good words for the young artist.

“Ang bilin ko lang dumating sa studio na alam yung kanta para mas mabilis yung process. True enough, dumating si Janah sa studio na very professional. Sobrang alam yung kanta and sobrang bilis namin ginawa yung song,” he said. 

“Lahat ng mga harmonies that I asked her to do, mabilis niya rin nagawa. Hindi niya ako pinahirapan. Sobrang happy ko dun kasi hindi lahat ng artists ganun,” he added. 

Meanwhile, Janah shared that she could already feel the Christmas vibes once again after three years of being in the pandemic. Her latest song highlighted the different traditions and emotions that Filipinos feel during the season of giving.

“Mas ramdam ko yung Pasko na nagbabalik talaga kasi after three years of pandemic na we’ve been through, I think mas lalong nandiyan na ulit yung mga Christmas lights, mga caroling––yung talagang simoy ng hangin na pasko na,” she said. 

Apart from "Pasko’y Nagbabalik," Janah released her upbeat single, "Dancing On My Own," earlier this year.
