Sandara Park to host K-Pop event EPICON in Manila

Sandara Park is set to return to the Philippines to host a K-Pop event in the country.

On her Instagram page, Sandara announced that she will be hosting EPICON on April 1 at the SM MOA Concert Grounds.

Joining her at the event is her fellow 2NE1 member Minzy who will be performing.

“See you soon Manila~!!! 🇵🇭 MC Dara with performer Minzy🎤 ready na ba kayo?! 🤩💘 #EPICON2023 #Dara #Minzy,” Sandara posted.

Fans of Sandara were quick to share their excitement on social media following her announcement.



“We are getting 2NE1 mini reunion,” one fan said.

“Atiiiii!! Iyak na kami ng iyak 😭😭😭 Ang sayaaaaaa! 2017 pa po kita huling napanuod ng liveeeee nung sa Penshopee mini concert mo😭 Sana po makapag perform ka rin po? 🫶🏼 See youuuu ati!! 🧡🧡🧡” one fan commented.

“Happy to see you again soon😍,” another fan wrote.

Aside from hosting EPICON, Sandara recently revealed that she is currently working on her solo album.

“I will give big spoiler!!! The concept of my album will be 'Sandara Park' 😎🌴," she posted on Twitter in February.

The singer added: "But it’s still too early to talk about it coz it’s still winter in Korea 😭🤣🤣🤣 spring is coming and then summer will be after spring. But I can’t stop talking bout my album with you guys😭 just relax for now🙏🏻.”



EPICON will be organized by Neuwave Events & Production. It was in February that the events company confirmed that the K-Pop event will be happening in April.

Ticket pre-sales of EPICON 2023 will happen on March 18 and general ticket sales will happen on March 19.
