Netflix unveiled its lineup of Korean content this year.

On Wednesday, February 7, the streaming giant posted a trailer of the upcoming Korean shows on their platform.

"This year, our K-content lineup delivers a diverse array of titles that capture the true essence of Korean storytellers. Whether it’s series, films, or innovative unscripted shows, we’ll share unforgettable experiences with entertainment fans worldwide and unmissable titles that you can enjoy only on Netflix,” Don Kang, Vice President of Netflix's Content (Korea), stated in a press release.

In quarter one, among the shows that will be streaming on Netflix are the comedy show Chicken Nugget; Queen of Tears, starring Kim Soo-hyun and Kim Ji-won, that follows the story of an estranged couple; A Killer Paradox starring Choi Woo-sik and Son Suk-ku which according to Netflix will follow the story of "an intricate game of chasing each other;" and Physical: 100 Season 2 - Underground, where a new group of 100 contestants from different backgrounds will compete as they test their limits in various physical challenges.

Other shows in quarter one include The Bequeathed, Doctor Slump, My Name is Loh Kiwan, Risque Business, Captivating the King, and Badland Hunters.

Meanwhile in the second quarter, Netflix will be showing Parasyte: The Grey based on the well-loved manga by Hitoshi Iwaaki that will be set in Korea; Agents of Mystery which tells the story of special agents who tackle peculiar mysteries; Super Rich in Korea which will feature multibillionaires and their luxury lifestyle; and Sweet Home Season 3 which will follow the story at the time when "monsterization ends and a new humanity begins."

Other shows showing in the second quarter are The 8 Show, Resident Playbook, and Hierarchy.

In the third quarter, the season 2 of Gyeongseong Creature will be released which will bring the characters of Park Seo-jun and Han So-hee to modern day Seoul; The Influencer will also be streaming which will feature influencers from South Korea who will be competing for attention; and The Whirlwind also will be shown which will follow the story of a political feud that is to be settled.

Officer Black Belt and The Frog will also be streaming in the third quarter.

In quarter four, the fourth season of Single’s Inferno will be released as well as the sci-fi disaster movie The Great Flood with Park Hae-soo and The Trunk starring Gong Yoo which follows the story of hidden truths of a secret matchmaking service that are revealed.

Other shows that are set to be released in quarter four are Uprising, Zombieverse season 2, Hellbound season 2, and Mr. Plankton.

Netflix also announced that Squid Game season 2 will also be released this year.
