<p>TWICE’s Dahyun and actor Jung Jinyoung have been confirmed to star in the Korean adaptation of the beloved Taiwanese coming-of-age romance film<em> You are the Apple of My Eye.</em></p><p>On June 10, production companies Studio Take and Jayuro Pictures released the first look at the film and announced that filming commenced earlier this month.</p><p>The popular Taiwanese romance film <em>You are the Apple of My Eye </em>tells the story of high school troublemaker Ko Ching Teng and model student Shen Chia Yi, spanning from their school years to 15 years later.</p><p>In the Korean remake, Jinyoung will play Jin Woo, the Ko Ching Teng character in the original.</p><p>Known for his versatile roles in The Dude in Me and the Sweet Home series, Jinyoung transforms into Jin Woo, a playful yet maturing character experiencing the pain of first love.</p><p>Dahyun will take on the role of Seon Ah, equivalent to the Shen Chia Yi character. Seon Ah is depicted as a shy yet strong-willed student, bringing a fresh dynamic to the beloved story.</p><p>Jinyoung expressed his enthusiasm for the role, stating, “I am happy to have been cast in a project that I have affection for. I will do my best to convey the emotions of the original film.”</p><p>Dahyun also shared her excitement, saying, “It is an honor to be able to greet viewers through the big screen with a great project.
