The couple's engagement was celebrated on the same day on It's Showtime , with heartfelt messages from Ryan’s co-hosts Amy Perez, Jackie Gonzaga, Cianne Dominguez, Teddy Corpuz, Jhong Hilario, Karylle, Vhong Navarro, and Vice Ganda.

Ryan couldn’t hide his happiness as he thanked his Showtime family. Amy praised Ryan’s growth, saying, “Sobra yung ngiti mo, Ryan. I’m so proud of you because nawitness ko the man that you have become. Alam mo ‘yun, kung paano ka pinrepare ni Lord for this journey, 'di ba? Because you are such an obedient son, napakabuti mong tao, napakabuti ng puso mo that’s why binless ka ni Lord ng isang babae na napakabuti rin, napakaganda at napaka-bait, na makakasama mo forever. So God Bless you both, we love you Ryan.”

Teddy humorously remarked, “Alam niyo yung sabi sa'kin ni Ryan kanina, ‘Di na ako ang inyong baby boy.’” Amy added, “Na-achieve niya yung goal niya, pinagpray niya yan ng sobra. Paano ka naghanda? Di mo sinabi sa'min, gumising kaming lahat kanina ‘ha? Engaged na si Ryan?’”

Ryan expressed his gratitude. “Pero Tyang, Gusto ko talaga magpasalamat una kay Panginoon na allowed yung moment na yun kagabi, na pumayag si Panginoon na sama-sama kami at nag propose ako tapos gusto [magpa]salamat sa magulang niya, pumunta ako sa bahay nila, talaga nag-yes po sila sa akin. Siyempre humingi po ako kamay ni Paola para ma-engage, ma-propose. At gusto ko din mag[pa]salamat kay Paola, nag yes po siya sakin, I will make you [the] most happiest girl in the world.”

Wala lang I’m just so proud,” Vice said emotionally, trying to hold back his tears. Ryan added, “Kuya Vhong, nung nag yes si Paola sa'kin, tinawagan ko agad si Mami (Vice Ganda), nag-Facetime kami, nag-iyakan kami. Thank you mami.”

Ryan thanked Vice for his support. “Siyempre, ikaw ang gusto kong unang makaalam.” Vice concluded, “Hindi pero wala akong kakaba-kaba alam kong magye-yes si Paola, walang tatanggi kay Ryan, dahil hindi ka katanggi-tanggi. Wala akong nakikitang katanggi-tanggi sa'yo, napakaganda mong tao, at swerte kayong dalawa ni Paola sa isa’t isa.”

Ryan and Paola, who met at a football game, got engaged eight months after publicly announcing their relationship in October 2023. The couple's parents recently met during a trip to Seoul, fulfilling Ryan’s dream of having dinner with his parents despite their separation.
