Another EXO member is set to have a memorable night with their Filipino EXO-Ls as Chen, whose real name is Kim Jongdae, announced his Asia Tour this coming October and November.

On his social media page, Chen revealed the cities for his fan concert tour. This includes Manila on November 23, Saturday at the New Frontier Theater in Cubao, Quezon City.

“2024 CHEN FAN-CON 'Beyond the DOOR' ASIA TOUR # #CHEN #Beyond_the_DOOR #ASIATOUR,” said in INB 100’s post.

Beyond the DOOR Asia Tour’s first stop will be in Taipei in October. Chen will then take his show to Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur before heading to Manila.

Further details such as ticket prices, seat plan, fan perks, and ticket selling dates are yet to be announced.

Chen's fancon first kicked off with a two-day show in Seoul, South Korea on September 21 and September 22.

Filipino EXO-Ls and Soondingies (Chen’s fandom name) couldn't help but express excitement on Chen’s Beyond the DOOR Manila stop.

“Let this be a very happy birthday month...my gulay need ng todo todong manifestation para makakuha ng ticket!!!” a fan posted on social media platform X.

Another one expressed, “I'm crying for about an hour now. He's really coming back to Manila after 2 YEARS. I need to see him. I will be there NO MATTER WHAT 😭🙏.”

A fan also quipped about how the members of EXO have been visiting the country one by one for their solo activities, saying, “Hohohoho every month with Exo I feel so loved pero I feel so poor na 😅.”

Just this year, members Baekhyun, Suho (whose real name is Kim Junmyeon), D.O. (whose real name is Doh Kyungsoo) and Xiumin (whose real name is Kim Minseok) just visited the country for their solo activities. Chinese member Lay (whose real name is Zhang Yixing) also met his Filipino fans last year.

Member Chanyeol is also coming to the Philippines this October for his first solo concert.

Chen previously visited the Philippines in 2022 for the Be You 2: The World Will Care concert in Cebu and Manila with his fellow EXO and CBX member, Xiumin.

Dubbed as the “Kim of K-drama OST”, Chen debuted as the main vocalist for the third generation K-pop group EXO in 2012. Four years later, he joined the group’s first subunit with fellow members Baekhyun and Xiumin.

He then debuted as a solo artist in 2019 with his debut album April, and a Flower, consisting of six songs.

His hit K-drama songs include “Everytime” for Goblin  with singer Punch, "For You" for Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo with Baekhyun and Xiumin, "Make It Count" for Touch Your Heart, “Best Luck” for That’s Okay, It’s Love, "Cherry Blossom Love Song" for 100 Days My Prince, "Heaven For You" for The First Responders and his other non-OST hits such as “Beautiful Goodbye,” “Shall We?”, “My Dear” “Hold you Tight,” among others.

In May of this year, Chen released his fourth EP album, Door, under his new label for his solo activities founded by his fellow member Baekhyun.

In an interview with Fox 13, the Korean singer shared what the message behind his new album was.

“For the fans listening to this album, I wanted to be able to empty their feelings out but also instill hope for them by filling their hearts up again, which is why when I picked these six songs, each song had to contain various emotions and certain specific different genres and topics and characters,” he explained.

He also recently celebrated his birthday last September 21 when he had a special stage with Xiumin during his fancon.
