MarKap’s Compliment Battle will give you intense ‘kilig’ and good vibes

The MarKap ship has officially sailed and everyone’s feeling ‘kilig’ and happy and inspired at the same time. To level up the feels, Gelli de Belen and Cris Villanueva surprised their fans with a special Compliment Battle in an episode of Kapamilya Chat.

The actors donned their characters, Margie and Captain Rosales, as they swap compliments. Here’s the catch: they aren’t supposed to show emotions, which is quite a challenge, especially for the effervescent Margie.

The game would kick off from Kap’s compliment about Margie’s online selling skills. Margie reacts, “Grabe si Kap! Ang paborito ko ‘pag nasa presinto ka tapos minamandohan mo ‘yung mga kasama mo sa office, natutuwa ako kasi you’re so tapang.”

He continues, “Ang favorite ko din sa’yo, ‘yung mga millennial sayings mo.” She retorts, “Pinapakilig mo naman ako, Kap! Favorite ko naman ‘pag dumadalaw ka sa bahay tapos nagdadala ka ng pan de coco.”

In an attempt to make her laugh, he remarks, “Gustong-gusto ko ‘yung singing voice mo. Muntik ko na nga i-tape ‘yon, eh.” Then, she ends the game with, “Sabi ko na nga ba, ‘yung pagiging singer, dapat ‘yun ang trabaho ko. Ako naman Kap, gustong-gusto ko kapag inaalagaan mo ‘yung mga anak ko.”
