Just in time for the holiday season, we asked Royal Couple and stars of Star Cinema flick “Rewind” Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera Christmas-related questions which they enthusiastically responded to.

First off is the Christmas-themed superpowers they wish to have. For Dingdong, he wants to have the ability to make plenty of queso de bola at the same time, which he would give out to people around the world. He shared how it actually makes them happy to receive queso de bola, which they would slice and heat in the microwave.

On the other hand, Marian wishes to have the ability to read minds so that she can find out what gifts other people really want to receive. It’s because she wants to make sure that they would genuinely like what she would give them.

And second, if they will be given the opportunity to switch lives with Santa Claus for a day, whose wish they are going to grant. Dingdong disclosed that it would be Santa himself since he’s the one who has been giving gifts to other people and granting wishes. Marian, meanwhile, chose her beloved nanay or grandma.

According to the actress, her nanay would always tell her, “okay na akong kung anong buhay meron ako” every time she asks her what she likes to receive. However, her guts tell her that there’s something that she wants to get but didn’t tell her. And that is what she likes to know.

DongYan capped off this video by expressing their message to everyone this holiday season. Dingdong said, “I’m just very hopeful na magiging mas maayos pa ang lahat sa paparating na bagong taon.”

Marian went on to relate that her kids love to watch the classic holiday flick “The Grinch,” which conveys the message that Christmas is not really about the presents, but the love that you feel in your heart. Thus, it’s also love that they wish to share to others through their movie “Rewind.”

“Rewind” marks Dingdong and Marian’s comeback film after more than a decade and their first together under Star Cinema. Joining them in the movie are veteran and seasoned stars Coney Reyes, Ariel Ureta, Lito Pimentel, Pepe Herrera, and Sue Ramirez.

This serves as a collaboration among Star Cinema, APT Entertainment, and AgostoDos Media, and is now showing in cinemas as part of the 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival.
