MANILA - Cebu Pacific said Friday all domestic and international flights from May 1 to May 15 were canceled due to the extension of the lockdown in Metro Manila and other urban areas to address the COVID-19 pandemic.

President Rodrigo Duterte on Friday approved the extension of the so-called enhanced community quarantine in Metro Manila, Calabarzon, Central Luzon, Mindoro island, Pangasinan, Benguet, Catanduanes, Albay, Antique, Iloilo, Aklan, Capiz, Cebu, Davao del Norte, Davao de Oro, and Davao City.

All other areas will be under the looser general community quarantine, he said.

Cargo flights will continue to operate to ensure the continued flow of vital goods, medicines and personal protective equipment, the carrier said.

Passengers with affected flights may opt for free rebooking within 3 months with fees and fare difference waived, place the amount in a travel fund or get a full refund, Cebu Pacific said.
