The show's host found herself holding her hand above a cup that could have had a sharp nail pointing upwards under it, as she was asked to help out an aspirant from Caloocan to carry out his act.

Richard David tried to impress the judges by claiming he could read minds. He placed a nail under one of the 8 cups he set on a table and, after shuffling them around, made Gonzaga pick which to press down.

Oblivious to where the nail ended up in, Gonzaga was scared to commit to a decision. Moreso when she was asked to place her hand above the cup she chose randomly.

The risk of having a nail pierce Gonzaga's hand worried the judges, even if the host herself said she was fine with trusting David. "One-year-old pa lang iyong anak ko ha," Gonzaga said.

To Gonzaga's relief, the first cup did not contain the nail. But the judges stopped David from further involving the "Home Sweetie Home" star for safety reasons.

Vice Ganda pointed out that performers like him are just "one bad day" away from having an accident.

This meant that David had to push down the cups himself, with Gonzaga deciding which.

He managed to avoid the nail up until the last cup, but it was far from a flawless trick. Some of the judges noted that a few of the cups accidentally fell off the table as he was performing.

It resulted in him failing the round after a getting a divided vote, with 2 saying no.
