MANILA -- Joshua Garcia shot down recent rumors that he's dating "The Killer Bride" co-star Alexa Ilacad.

Speaking to reporters this past week, the actor said: "May nakikita akong mga tweet about sa [amin], and sinabi ko sa kaniya, 'Alam mo bang pinagti-tripan tayo sa Twitter, na sinasabi na tayo?'"

"So kami pinagtatawanan na lang namin, pati kami nina Janella [Salvador]," he said, referring to their other co-star in the late night drama. He also added that he and Ilacad are "just close."

Garcia explained that people might have gotten the idea because Ilacad's character is supposed to like his. He said that this dynamic led to them developing a better friendship that began when they both were part of the 2017 teleserye "The Good Son."

"Lahat naman ng cast ka-close namin. Kaya siguro nagagawa namin nang maganda yung mga eksena namin," he said.

Garcia's previous relationship prior to the new rumors was with Julia Barretto, while Ilacad was last linked with Nash Aguas.
