Jed Madela 

MANILA -- Singer Jed Madela is gearing up for his upcoming birthday concert on July 5 at the Music Museum. 

In an interview, Madela expressed his excitement for the concert, noting that he is very hands-on with the preparations.

“All the songs were handpicked because the main theme of the concert is to show my world to the audience outside of what they see on TV. Each song has a story that I want to share with the audience,” he said during a media conference on Monday.

Madela also mentioned that everyone involved in the concert is doing it out of love and support, going out of their way to make the event special for him.

During the media conference, Pinoy pop group SB19 member Stell Ajero was also brought up as he and Madela have been compared on social media recently. Ajero gained attention after belting the song “All by Myself” during Canadian record producer David Foster’s concert at the Araneta Coliseum last week.

Madela expressed his interest in collaborating with Ajero, stating, “I’m very open to collaborating with a lot of artists in the industry, and now that Stell is really making a name for himself and gaining recognition, I think a collaboration between us would be great."

He also mentioned that he is flattered to be compared to Ajero, saying, “Kasi you know ilan lang naman kami matataas ang boses but collaboration yes! Why not!”
