Due to her compelling portrayal of her character Roxy Cristobal in the primetime series “High Street,” not to mention her versatile acting prowess, viewers have been heaping praises on former child star Xyriel Manabat. It may seem effortless for her to play her role, not just because she’s wonderfully talented, but they also somehow share some resemblance when it comes to their personalities.

However, as Xyriel takes on this “Real High” Challenge, in which she has to choose what could be the preference of herself and her character, it appears that they actually have more differences than similarities.

Although both of them deserve to take a rest since their jobs may require them to work beyond stipulated hours, Xyriel feels that Roxy craves breaktime and needs it more than her, considering that she also has Riley (Argus Aspiras) to take care of as well. Meanwhile, she’s okay with taking overtime since it can mean more earnings, right?

For similar reasons, Xyriel thinks that Roxy will opt for workation, while she personally wants to go on a staycation. But we wonder how Roxy is going to do it because, as a nurse, it’s quite difficult to file for leave and she also has to come to the hospital and report on duty. Thus, Xyriel gave the “work-on-office” option to her and the “work-from-home” choice to herself.

Since Roxy used to do online live-selling during “Senior High,” she was asked whether she prefers looking at products by price or by rating. As a self-confessed budgetarian, Xyriel said that she is usually focused on the price rather than the ratings from other customers, while Roxy is probably on the rating just to make sure.

And with regard to her mode of payment, the Kapamilya actress divulged that she has no credit card, so she definitely would pay for anything in cash. On the other hand, she presumed that Roxy and her Ate Ria (Rans Rifol) might have a credit card, so she gave that option to her.

Aside from acting, it seems that Xyriel is inclined toward art as she prefers doing doodles, while she assumes that Roxy may like to create mood boards as her way to destress and motivate herself.

Between piercings and tattoos, Xyriel chose the former since she already has a few on some parts of her body. Meanwhile, she thought that her “High Street” character may have a concealed tattoo.

And when it comes to stability and passion, she prefers to attain the former, while Roxy may want to go after her passion of serving and taking care of other people.

Amidst their many differences when it comes to their preferences, she thought that both of them choose non-fiction over fiction, to be street-smart rather than book-smart, and to hear a painful truth rather than a comforting lie. Meanwhile, when asked to pick one between words and actions, she asserted that it would be “words with actions” for her.
