<figure class="op-interactive"><iframe src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/HoX-IDrvTRs?enablejsapi=1"></iframe></figure><div class="iwantbar">Watch more in <a href="//www.iwantv.com.ph/">iWantv</a> or <a href="//tfc.tv/">TFC.tv</a></div><p>MANILA -- The Commission on Higher Education on Monday recommended &quot;blended&quot; online and classroom learning as a precaution against COVID-19 should classes resume in August.</p><p>Students without internet access may physically attend classes while online learning can be given to those with full internet connection, CHED Chairman Prospero De Vera said.</p><p>“&#x27;Yong old mode na babalik kayong lahat sa classroom, magle-lecture, hindi na puwede ‘yan,” De Vera told DZMM.</p><p>(The old mode where all students are in a classroom will not be allowed.)</p><p>The CHED is planning scenarios for next semester depending on the duration of the Luzon lockdown, which has been ongoing for a month and is scheduled to last until April 30, he said.</p><p>Universities are required to prepare protocols to ensure the safety of students, faculty members and employees from COVID-19, he said.</p><p>De Vera said CHED would help train professors on flexible learning so they could adjust their syllabi before August.</p><ul class="op-related-articles">	<li><a href="https://news.abs-cbn.com/news/04/16/20/no-mass-promotion-up-to-end-semester-on-april-30-defer-grading">No mass promotion: UP to end semester on April 30, defer grading</a></li></ul>
