Cebu City Mayor Edgardo Labella said on Tuesday he would "really" press charges against his predecessor, Tomas Osmena and councilor Mary Ann delos Santos, after both stripped bare their offices at the city hall before leaving their posts.

Labella's camp were surprised last Friday after they discovered that the mayor's office was stripped of equipment including tiles, ceilings, and dividers.

Labella said the filing of cases might have to wait, however, since he has to find a place to work in.

The mayor will temporarily work at Vice Mayor Michael Rama's office while Rama will stay at the social lobby of the city hall.

Osmena and Delos Santos have yet to comment but the former mayor had told DZMM that his personal money was used to renovate the mayor's office.
