MANILA — The 21 Filipino seafarers rescued from MV Tutor returned safely back in the Philippines on Monday.

Officials of the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) and Department of Health welcomed the distressed Filipino workers upon arrival.

The vessel MV Tutor was seriously damaged after a double missile attack by Houthi rebels on the Red Sea last June 12.

One Filipino crew member was confirmed missing.
