During her speech to sponsor Committee Report 514 about the investigation of the Committee on Women, Children, Family Relations, and Gender Equality on human trafficking in scam hubs, Hontiveros said “other legal entities and avenues remain in jeopardy of being used as Trojan horses.”

Pinapalipat na sila ng base of operations sa isang casino sa Parañaque, at gaya ng sa POGO, naka-dorm sa isang condominium sa Pasay. Magpapatuloy ang mga scam operation at lahat ng iba pang panloloko ng POGO kung hindi natin ito tutukan,” she added.
“Ngayon pa lang, may nakukuha nang report ang aming opisina mula sa empleyado ng POGO. Pinapalipat na sila ng base of operations sa isang casino sa Parañaque, at gaya ng sa POGO, naka-dorm sa isang condominium sa Pasay. “Kung hindi sila maka-scam, sinasaktan, tino-torture. They need our immediate help. Mr. President, binalak po nilang tumakas sa kanilang kinalalagyan nitong nakaraan lang na Chinese New Year. Ngunit maliban sa armadong gwardiya ang kanilang kakaharapin, sinabihan sila na kailangan nilang lumangoy sa ilog sa pagitan ng Myanmar at Thailand para makarating sa kaligtasan,” Hontiveros said.

Several recommendations were enumerated in Committee Report 514 after its hearings on human trafficking and POGOs wrapped up.

One of these is for authorities to file cases against public officials involved in illegal POGO activities and in protecting Guo who is believed to be Guo Hua Ping. According to the report, Sual, Pangasinan Mayor Lisandro Calugay and his staff should also be made accountable.
