MANILA — Commission on Elections (Comelec) chairman George Garcia on Tuesday refused to comment on the "threat" of a Duterte Youth official to reveal alleged corruption in the poll agency after it suspended the proclamation of the said party-list.

On Monday, the Comelec suspended Duterte Youth and Bagong Henerasyon's proclamation as winning party-lists due to their pending disqualification petitions.

Duterte Youth chairman Ronald Cardema threatened Comelec that he will unravel how "many of them in Congress and the poll body receive immense amounts through decisions, accreditations, projects and funds."

Garcia promised that the commission en banc will resolve all pending cases against Duterte Youth and Bagong Henerasyon party-list group before June 30.

Garcia emphasized that the National Board of Canvassers (NBOC) merely suspended the proclamation of said party-list groups pending the resolution of cases against them.
