Heavy rainfall blanketed parts of Quezon City shortly after midnight on Wednesday, June 4.

Numerous motorcyclists were seen seeking refuge from the rainfall.

The sudden downpour led many riders to huddle under overpasses, particularly along the southbound lane near Nepa-Q Mart, waiting for the rain to subside.

Weather bureau PAGASA is forecasting more rain ahead as the southwest monsoon affects Luzon and the intertropical convergence zone affects southern Mindanao.
