As Jannik Sinner eased to a 6-3 6-4 7-5 win over Taylor Fritz in the US Open men's singles final on Sunday (September 8), much of the media attention was focused on the ongoing romance between singer Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce in the stands.

While Fritz failed to become the first US player to take the title since 2003, the all-American couple served up 'relationship goals' as they captivated audiences worldwide.

Accompanying them was Kelce's quarterback and two-time NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes and his wife Brittany, with the Chiefs duo taking full advantage of a rare football-free Sunday in September.

Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey, meanwhile, put his tennis skills to the test, rallying with former Wimbledon runner-up Nick Kyrgios before the action on Arthur Ashe.

Also in attendance at Flushing Meadows to see Sinner lift his second career Grand Slam were a host of Hollywood A-listers including Dustin Hoffman and Eddie Redmayne, basketball star Jayson Tatum, rockstar Bon Jovi and Olympic 100m champion Noah Lyles.
