CJ Navato proves wit in ‘What Do You Meme’ Challenge

Thanks to his wit sharpened as a Goin’ Bulilit star, CJ Navato slayed Kapamilya Chat’s “What Do You Meme” Challenge.

In this game, CJ would have to recite or guess the jumbled words. For example, he translated mob boo hay into ‘mabuhay.’ In the succeeding rounds, he was able to guess ‘mark cool lie’ as makulay, ‘she feel you’ as sipilyo, ‘come mat tees' as kamatis and ‘plank gone ah' as planggana.

Also included in the set of phrases are ‘ben till adore’ or bentilador, and ‘talk keep see lim' or takipsilim. CJ failed to guess ‘say lip pow pow’ which is salipawpaw and ‘my hall key track' which sounds like mahal kita.

CJ guested on Kapamilya Chat to talk about his portrayal of Filipino athlete and 2020 Tokyo Olympics silver medallist Carlo Paalam’s life story in MMK “Silver Punch.” He also shared more details about his new single “In My Imagination” and revealed he’s working on a new album.
