Kathryn Bernardo feels flattered to be tagged as this generation's teen queen

Kathryn Bernardo admitted she feels pressured to maintain the high ratings of her new serye Got To Believe since it rated so well during its pilot week. “Happy kami pero mahirap pag-ganon kasi may pressure na kailangan mo siyang i-maintain,” Kathryn relayed in an exclusive interview with Push.com.ph. Nonetheless, the young actress said she draws comfort from the fact that GTB is a great project. “Pero as long as alam namin na maganda ‘yung project, at maganda ‘yung quality ng ginawa namin, okay lang.”

On being tagged as this generation’s teen queen, Kathryn said she is overwhelmed, but she said that it never gets to her ego. “Hindi ko alam, hindi ko nararamdaman and sila lang ‘yung nagsasabi.” But she’s flattered and happy at the same time. “But ano, flattering at ayon nakakatuwa.”

When asked what she thinks is the reason behind the success of her tandem with Daniel Padilla, the actress remarked that it might have something to do with their rawness and on how they keep it natural in front of the camera. “Very sincere lang kasi kami at hindi kami scripted pag may camera, may ganyan and very young and very innocent.”

Besides acting, the young actress is also busy with her studies. On how she balances everything, she said, “Time management lang talaga.” Is she going to pursue college? “Hanggang kinakaya ko, kinakaya ko pa naman.”

The young star joined Daniel and the rest of the Got To Believes stars in a fun run last September 1 in Paranaque City. Kathryn was excited about her very first run. “Super excited talaga, actually nong sinabi sa akin na magkakaroon ng fun run, sobrang excited talaga ako. Maganda rin kasi siyang bonding time with the fans and very colorful pa.” Her family and friends were also all present during the activity. “I’m very happy kasi nandito sila to support at bihirang sumama si kuya,” she said.
