Neri, who is now also a successful business woman, tells her readers that the Parokya Ni Edgar front man gave her a tip on how to save for the rainy days. The former Star Circle Questor said when she began working as an actress, she felt money would always come in since she had a steady trickle of work. But her husband pointed out that she was wrong in handling her finances.

"Mali ako dun. Maling mali. Tinuruan ako ni Chito kung paano mag-handle ng pera. Kunware daw ay may P15,000 akong nakuhang sahod, yung P5,000 lang daw gastusin ko, isipin ko na yun lang ang pera ko the whole month. Itago ko yung P10,000. Or depende syempre sa talagang gastusin mo kada buwan. Basta i-budget mo lang yung gastusin sa bahay. For example, kung ang sahod mo ay P20,000 tapos ang budget mo sa isang buwan ay P12,000, yung P8,000 itago mo na agad, i-banko, time deposit para di mo talaga magastos agad. Magugulat ka na lang sa ipon mo sa banko. Pwede ka ng bumili ng sariling kotse o bahay," she revealed.
