“Pumunta ako sa Japan, 2016. 16 years old po ako. Malayo sa pamilya, malayo sa lahat. Walang kakilala.

Carlos revealed a particularly dark time in his life when he almost reached his breaking point. Nagdasal po talaga ako that day and hindi kasi ako makatulog, and naiisip ko na mawala talaga.

“The next day, medyo umokay na po pero hindi pa rin ‘dun natatapos talaga ‘yung challenges. Nandun pa rin ‘yung mga difficulties. Hindi talaga maiwasan. Pero may clarity po after kong mag-pray and when I wake up po, mas lively na ako ng konti. And ‘yun po, ‘yun ‘yung pinakapinanghawakan ko every time na nalulungkot ako, nagpepray po talaga ako,” he narrated, sharing how he found solace in his faith despite the overwhelming challenges.
