Sharing his emotional journey, Laurel expressed: "Growing up as a bisexual man most of my life I hid it to my family one of the reason is because I grew up with so much love and when you grow up with so much love you're afraid of losing that love so recently when my family previewed the episode all my cousins and my family were very supportive and I finally came out to my family."
