MANILA - Action star Robin Padilla and other celebrities praised Senator Grace Poe for accepting defeat, hours after partial and unofficial results showed Davao Mayor Rody Duterte leading by a big margin (around 6 million votes) in the presidential election.
"The woman who delivered the solid victory to our New President Rodrigo Duterte. If she gave in to the call of Mr Mar Roxas [to unite], the start of the revolution will never be realized. Deepest respect to you Madame Grace Poe, you are truly the daughter of the KING FPJ," Padilla wrote on his Instagram page.
