MANILA (UPDATE) - A court in Angeles City, Pampanga issued Wednesday a hold departure order against the primary suspect in the abduction and slay of South Korean businessman Jee Ick-Joo in October 2016.

"The Travel Control Bureau of the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Pasay City is ordered to hold the departure of the here under named accused from the country so as not to escape criminal liabilities pending the final determination of this case," Angeles City Regional Trial Court Branch 56 stated.

Dumlao is accused of masterminding Jee's abduction in Angeles City and slay at the national police headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City nearly three years ago.
